GPC LAB – Laboratory Rental
A laboratory rental service based in La Rochelle dedicated to the industrialization of biotechnology processes, supporting industrial players, startups, and innovators from concept through to production. GPC LAB offers a fully equipped environment (fermenters from 2L to 250L, autoclave, tangential flow filtration, biosafety cabinet, analysis and control tools) to carry out exploratory trials, proof-of-concept work, and batch production. Beyond the equipment itself, support covers technical guidance (probe and sensor selection), process automation and recipe management, and structuring the scale-up path toward industrialization.
Commissioning and Restart of Installations
A comprehensive commissioning service delivered by specialized technicians: unpacking, order compliance checks, connection to utilities, and start-up trials, followed by on-site training for the operating teams. GPC also supports Installation, Operational, and Performance Qualification phases (IQ/OQ/PQ) to validate the equipment under the client’s real operating conditions. For installations that have been idle, GPC offers a secure restart service (inspections, water trials, upgrades), covering both its own equipment and equipment from other manufacturers.
After-Sales Service
Comprehensive support covering the entire lifecycle of installations: spare parts and consumables (filters, probes, seals, sensors…) through a single point of contact, second-hand equipment available via an online shop, and preventive maintenance built around three areas of expertise (mechanical, metrology/calibration, and IT/CBIO2 supervision). In addition, GPC provides responsive troubleshooting and corrective maintenance (diagnostics, remote assistance, on-site intervention) to quickly restore equipment availability and ensure long-term reliability.
Revamping & Retrofit
Custom modernization of fermenters, bioreactors, and existing installations (regardless of original manufacturer): replacement of automation systems, integration of the CBIO2 control software, renewal of sensors, and upgrading of safety functions. By favoring standard industrial components and modular controllers over proprietary boards, GPC ensures long-term repairability and spare parts availability. Designed as a scalable platform, this modernization extends equipment lifespan while preparing it for future production needs.
